Abstract

The design and development of this method for preconcentration, separation and measurement of copper (II) ions is a basic requirement due to its importance in various industries and the low concentration of this ion in most samples.A new methods technique using a disperse solid phase extraction (DSPE) with Multi Wall Carbon NanoTube carboxyl as sorbent was developed for the preconcentration of trace amounts of Cu(II) in Varamin waste water samples and was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). Some of the important parameters on the preconcentration and complex formation were selected and optimized. Under the optimized conditions the limit of detection (LOD) and relative standard deviation were 0.150 µg.L-1 and 2.59 % respectively. the proposed method has a good reproducibility 1.81%.The enrichment factor was 60 and the percentage of recovery was in the range of 95-100% .The method was successfully applied to the recovery of Cu2+in different type of water samples. of Nano Geraphene Oxide in this study is full of potential to use as an excellent adsorbent in the extraction method like solid phase extraction (SPE) and solid phase micro extraction (SPME).
